GIRLS EATING FOOD IN MY KITCHEN
An interesting photo series about growing up with GI health issues and a grown woman’s relationship with food.
GIRLS EATING FOOD IN MY KITCHEN
I eat to live, not live to eat. My fridge is barren…almond milk and cat food and film take up most of the space. Growing up with health problems has forced my strained relationship with food and dealing with this ambivalence towards eating has been a trying process... I wanted to explore these feelings, so I decided to photograph girls eating the food at my house on the day of their shoot. The subjects had no choice in the matter...they had to eat whatever was in my fridge that morning.
